Thousands attend ’05 Spring Fest

Even gloomy weather couldn’t put a damper on the 2005 Spring Fest street fair last Sunday.

An estimated 13,000 to 14,000 people showed up for the event, which was organized by the Poway Chamber of Commerce and featured about 200 vendor booths, kiddie rides and live entertainers along Midland Road between Poway Road and Hilleary Place.

Red-light tickets begin this week
