UPDATE:Ex-boyfriend accused of PQ killing pleads not guilty

El Cajon resident James Joseph Cain, 40, who was accused of shooting his former girlfriend in Rancho Penasquitos on May 19, plead not guilty Tuesday to murder and other charges in San Diego Superior Court.

Business park bus route scheduled for elimination

A bus route serving the Poway business park will be eliminated in July, and another route serving the entire city will have reduced weekend service.

Why Arnold wants a special election

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is almost certain to call a special fall election sometime in the next two weeks. The reason, he told listeners to a radio talk show the other day, is “to give power back to the people – that’s why we have to have special elections.”
