‘Self Help’ triumphs at PowPAC’s awards banquet
PowPAC, Poway’s Community Theatre, celebrated its 28th season recently with its annual awards banquet, held June 27.
The comedy “Self Help,” received the most honors with six awards, including Best Production and Best Acting honors for Debbie David and Frank Remiatte.
House Management awards also went to Brenda Robinson, Helen McGuinness and Maxine Brunton for “Independence.”
PowPAC, at 13250 Poway Road, opens its 29th season with the comedy “The Costume Ball,” running July 16 through Aug. 15. For more information, go to www.Powpac.org.
