Portion of major Poway road to close for repaving
The segment of Ted Williams Parkway between Twin Peaks Road and Pomerado Road will be closed next Wednesday and Friday while the city applies an asphalt overlay.
Commuters using Twin Peaks Road to access Ted Williams Parkway, or vice versa, will have to use Pomerado Road. (See map.)
The project will also close the intersection of Deerwood Street and Twin Peaks Road Wednesday and Friday. Residents of Deerwood Street will have to use Silverset Street to access Twin Peaks Road.
Meanwhile, Twin Peaks Road between Ted Williams Parkway and Maplewood Street is also getting an asphalt overlay Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. At times one lane will be closed each way, an eastbound lane in the morning and a westbound lane in the afternoon to accommodate commuters.
