The Poway Center for the Performing Arts Foundation will raffle off a new C Class Mercedes Benz during the intermission Saturday of “The 39 Steps.” The winner can opt for a cashout, instead of the car. Poway Spirit Day runs from 8 a.m. to noon this Saturday with registration at the Poway Boys & Girls Club, 12988 Bowron Road. Volunteers of all ages are needed to help paint the interior of the Poway Senior Center, spruce up parks and assist seniors with chores, among other projects.
The All Faith Center is hosting its monthly Interfaith Sunday from 2-3:30 p.m. April 17 at the Light of Life Center for Spiritual Living at 12540 Oaks North Drive, Rancho Bernardo.

The City of Poway will host a family campout on Saturday, April 16 at Lake Poway. Enjoy night fishing, boating, a campfire and camping. The fee is $40 for a family of four, $10 for each additional family member. The family fee includes four all-day fishing passes, one night fishing boat from 7:30-11:30 p.m. Bring a tent, fishing poles, gear, and dinner supplies. “Sharon’s Ride, Run and Walk” a fundraiser for the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County is set for Sunday, April 17 at 3000 E. Mission Bay Drive. Poway Flower Show
The 33rd Annual Poway Standard Flower Show will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 16 in Old Poway Park.
The Old Poway Park Action Committee, the Poway Valley Garden Club and the City of Poway sponsor the event.
Horticulture entries are accepted at no cost and can be delivered to Old Poway Park starting Thursday, April 14.

Breast cancer fundraiser
The Boobster and Friends team, which is participating in the upcoming 40 mile Avon Foundation Walk for Breast Cancer, is holding 7 p.m. Saturday, May 21 fundraiser. Help RB’s seniors
Rancho Bernardo Senior Services needs volunteers. Front office volunteers are needed 3.5 hours a day to answer phones, schedule appointments, greet visitors and provide community information. Drivers are needed to deliver hot meals to home-bound individuals who live in Rancho Bernardo.
