The Del Norte High football team is back above the .500 mark, as the Nighthawks rolled to a 34-0 victory over Escondido Charter Friday night in a non-league game.

The Poway High football team watched San Pasqual erase a 10-point deficit with only six minutes left in the game last week. The result was a disappointing 17-17 tie.

Village-style concept proposed for new 4S/Del Sur school

A village-style campus connected by a pedestrian mall is the favored concept for Poway Unified’s first school to unite kindergartners through eighth-graders on one campus.

South parking lot to close temporarily at Rancho Bernardo Transit Station

Starting Monday, Oct. 3, crews will begin repairing a slope at the Rancho Bernardo Transit Station that failed due to heavy rains from last winter. To complete the repair, the station’s south parking lot will be closed for the duration of the project, which is expected to take two to three months.
