I am moving into this unit and I've been a taxpayer for 20 years up unitl 4 months ago when I was laid off. And yes, I do have intent to earn more. I am a licensed notary, attempting to get my business off the ground as well as I am attending school and 1.5 years from obtaining my bachelors degree in business administration. It's really not nice to assume. When in doubt, ask.

I am due to move into this complex. I have worked since I can remember and I am currently attending school for business administration.Unfortunatley I am in the mortgage industry and was recently laid off. In additional I also have a notary license. Even still I am a single parent of two and still made under 45,000 when employed and even less now on unemployment. I don't believe that these types of units are stagnating people. I see this as an opportunity for me to enjoy a nice place to live at a more affordable rate. When you all speak, you speak about the mindset of some however there are two sides to every story. And it is acceptable to proceed in life withought being so closed minded and judegment. Stop doing God's job.

I used to work for a low income housing complex here in Poway. That was 10 yrs ago and I know for a fact 90% of the same residents are still there. They have no incentive to leave when the rent is dirt cheap. I don't blame the residents, I blame the system.

This project is to promote forward mobility. Hopefully, families who will benefit from it can have a place there and soon they can be more financially stable.

Taxpayer funded housing in a time the government is broke. Look at these - they are really nice units. Residents will have no incentive to earn more than is necessary to stay. Why strive to get a slightly better job when it would disqualify you from living here and start paying twice the rent.
