The Rancho Bernardo Art Association presents their annual Spring Art Show, beginning 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 26 at the RB Swim & Tennis Club located at 16955 Bernardo Oaks Drive. The theme this year is “San Diego the Beautiful.” Jack Ragland will be the juror. Viewing open to the public. A charge of $5 is requested from non-members.

RBAA member Terry Anderson’s paintings will be featured at the Bernardo Winery Tasting Room. Anderson is the featured artist for the month of April at the Gallery located 13330 Paseo Del Verano.

The North County Society of Fine Arts is a local nonprofit group devoted to bringing the visual arts to public attention and fostering art education.

The 29th Annual Fiesta Old Town Cinco de Mayo is being held 5 – 10 p.m. Friday, May 4, 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Saturday, May 5 and 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday, May 6 in historic Old Town. This free event will feature three stages with live entertainment, over 40 bands, traditional ballet folklorico dancers, Lucha Libre performances, equestrian shows, a mercado with over 100 retail and food booths, beer garden, a children’s area and Lowrider Lane. The Art Glass Guild, located in historic Spanish Village Art Center – Balboa Park, is holding their Annual 2012 Spring Show and Patio Sale 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday, May 12 and Sunday, May 13. The Ramona Main Street Parade is being held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 19 on Main Street between 14th and 5th Street. Businesses and restaurants along the route will be having special sales and events in honor of the parade. Parade entry applications are being accepted now through Sunday, April 15 at www.ramonarodeo.net.
