Little League All-Stars 10/11: Carmel Mountain Ranch claims District 31 title

There was no stopping the Carmel Mountain Ranch Little League 10/11-year-old all-star team in Wednesday’s championship game at Poway American Little League Fields.

CMR scored six runs in the fourth and a two-run homer by Logan Berzins in the fifth nailed down a 14-3 victory over Del Mar National, as CMR celebrated winning the District 31 10/11-year-old title.

Trevor Reh, Brian Seo and Christian Lewis each drove in a run in the six-run fourth inning. Jon Sotto reached base four times, including a two-run blast in the third inning to help power CMR to the title.

Lewis tossed two-plus innings to get the win for CMR.
