Little League All-Stars 10/11: Rancho Buena Vista’s LaBauve tosses no-hitter to force winner-take-all title game

The Carmel Mountain Ranch Little League 10/11 All-Stars fell 10-0 to Rancho Buena Vista, as Max LaBauve threw a no-hitter on Tuesday at Murphy Canyon Little League Fields.

LaBauve struck out three batters and walked one in the gem, which forced a winner-take-all title game tonight at 7 p.m. at Murphy Canyon Little League Fields for the Section 6 title.

Bobby Casey, Noah Owen and Yanik Kammerer helped lead Rancho Buena Vista’s offensive attack, as the trio combined for six hits and six RBIs.

MAJORS

Encinitas went 3-0 to roll to the Section 6 title and advance to the South sub-Division III tournament, hosted by Aliso Viejo Little League. Encinitas, which defeated Poway National 8-6 in the District 31 title game, will open against the Section 8 champion Saturday at 11 a.m.
