Missing teens found safe
UPDATE: Missing teens have been found safe. They were taken to the Poway Sheriff’s Station to be interviewed. No further details were released by the Sheriff’s Department.
Two missing teenagers, one from Poway and one from Ramona, were last seen in Poway Saturday, July 28, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
Ashlee Bizell, 17, of Poway and Tyler Thorton, 16, of Ramona are believed to be together on foot and are possibly in the Poway, Ramona or Lakeside area.
Authorities have reason to believe Ashlee may be in fear for her safety and is possible being held against her will. Thorton is reported to carry knives. The Sheriff’s Department recommends that they not be contacted directly.
Ashlee has long, brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing 145 pounds, and was last seen wearing a teal tank top and gray sweat pants.
Thorton has brown hair and eyes, is 6 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. He is possibly carrying a backpack.
Anyone having information on their whereabouts should immediately call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.

It's been over a month, is there any update to this story? Was the girl kidnapped? Were they running away to elope?
No Joe, just being irresponsible 17 and 16 year olds. Ten years from now they wont even remember one another.
