Poway Days Parade needs sponsors

Want to get your business’ name out there, and support your community at the same time? The Poway Days Parade, now in its 48th year, is looking for sponsorships.

Sponsorship of the Sept. 8 parade this year not only buys your name displayed in the parade and on parade goods, but goes directly to buying meals to be packed at the post-parade Always Positive food-packing event.
The food packed at the event will be distributed to those in need around the world, with one-third going to San Diego food banks, and two-thirds being sent nationwide and around the world to be used in emergencies. Always Positive is hoping to pack between 200,000 and 250,000 meals after the parade.
There are a number of levels of sponsorship available, ranging from a few dollars up to $15,000, all with a variety of perks. For $10, you can become an “Always Positive In Poway Patron,” which buys 20 meals. For $100, you can buy 200 meals.
The Silver Sponsorship level ranges from $500 to $950 dollars, and not only includes buying 500 to 950 meals, but additional perks as well. This level includes four seats in the special Sponsor Grandstand viewing area and premium placement in the parade lineup, as well as a prominently placed link on powayparade.org.
For $1,000 to $4,500, you be a Gold Sponsor and donate between 1,000 to 4,500 meals. Gold Sponsors also receive six seats in the Sponsor Grandstand, premium placement in the parade lineup, a link on powayparade.org and your company name and logo on the official parade T-shirt.
There are only five Platinum level sponsorship spots available, and they come with additional perks. In addition to the benefits listed above, Platinum sponsors get eight seats in the Sponsor Grandstand and a 10-foot by 10-foot booth space at the Always Positive Festival. This level, which is $5,000, also buys 5,000 meals for the Always Positive event.
There is one final sponsorship level available, for one lucky sponsor only. The Title Sponsor is available, and for $15,000, you and your business could have your name all over the parade. With Title Sponsorship, the event becomes officially titled “Always Positive Day” (sponsored by). Your business will also have a banner in the parade, the most prominent stage signage and logo placement on parade marketing materials, 12 seats in the Sponsor Grandstand, a 10-foot by 10-foot booth space at the Always Positive Festival, and more. Of course, you will also be donating 15,000 meals to be packed for the needy.
