Rank/Team/Division (Last year’s record)

1. Helix/D-II/ (13-1) — Defending state champ deserves top spot until unseated.
2. Poway/D-II/ (12-0-1) — Loaded with talent on defense and playmakers on offense.
3. Cathedral Catholic/D-III/ (12-1) — Returns QB and strong running game.
4. Oceanside/D-II/ (9-3-1) –  Returns QB and top four rushers.
5. La Costa Canyon/D-II/ (9-3) — Fast and experienced. Could play with any team in SDS.
6. Eastlake/D-I/ (8-4) — Will be carried by a solid set of RB’s
7. Mission Hills/D-I/ (7-4-1) — Top talent at QB, WR and RB. Should be explosive offense.
8. Valley Center/D-IV/ (12-1) — Strong on offense, question mark on defense.
9. Madison/D-IV/ (10-1-1) — Returns 13 starters; JV team went undefeated last year.
10. Santa Fe Christian/D-V/ (11-2) — Returns 15 of 22 starters from 11-win team.
