That's why crimes against children, elderly, and those with special needs is so horrible and cause such an outcry for justice. But as for what you read, remember all you're reading is one perspective and it is not necessarily the whole truth. A half truth is the same as a lie. Law enforcement is not necessarily after the truth, just convictions to further their careers. Do your own research on how tha DA's office has withheld evidence that would have been to the benefit of the accused. However, this is, again, one perspective.
