No more same ole, I agree " peaches and cream " may not taste all that bad this time of the year. The problem is they will soon be out of season and then what will you have, prunes?

Tom, while I agree with most of what you said, In my opinion Amy's column has run its course. I didn't mention Dick because personally I enjoy most of his writings.

And who know's " peaches and cream " may not taste all that bad this time of the year.

Ms Boyack has made significant contributions to the welfare of mankind and, surely, will continue to do so, but do you want a "peaches and cream" type columnist or would you prefer a thought provoking controversial one?
You mentioned Amy, but why not Dick Lyles? I hope that thought has not crossed your mind.
If a fresh new face is needed perhaps it should be an addition or to replace someone else.

Now that she's no longer a council member, ( soon ) perhaps she could replace Amy as a much more well informed ( community ) columnist for the Chieftain. A fresh new face is well overdue.
