A bridge on I-15 over Lake Hodges near where the body of Chelsea King, a 17-year-old Poway High School student who was found Feb. 25, 2010 after she disappeared during a run in Rancho Bernardo Park, will be named the Chelsea King Memorial Bridge.

The legislation also designates the portion of State Highway Route 78 between Old Milky Way and West Zoo Road alongside the San Diego Zoo Safari Park as the Amber Dubois Memorial Highway.

The highway memorial legislation was co-sponsored by Assemblyman Nathan Fletcher.
