Prep Girls Golf: Poway High fires season-best 211 at Stoneridge GC

The Poway High girls golf team continues to improve with every match of the season. This time the Titans crushed their previous season best on their home course by eight strokes.

Poway junior Joei Ducot and sophomore Lauren Spitzley each fired 40s to lead the Titans to a 211-268 victory over Westview Wednesday at Stoneridge Golf Course in a Palomar League match.

Senior Devon Thompson (42), sophomore Maddelyn Zack (43) and sophomore Torre Brown (46) rounded out the scoring for Poway. The Titans’ previous best at the course was a 219 against Rancho Bernardo on Sept. 11.
