Chamber’s Career Fair postponed

The career fair and professional growth workshops set for Sept. 26 in Rancho Bernardo have been postponed to January, organizers said.

The event, organized by San Diego North Chamber of Commerce, was to be held at the Rancho Bernardo Inn.

Debra Rosen, SDNCC president and CEO, said the decision to postpone was made on Wednesday for two reasons — potential participating companies are not doing most of their hiring now, but in early 2013. In addition, Sept. 26 is Yom Kippur, a Jewish holiday.
