Prep Girls Golf: Griffith, Chickering lead Del Norte High to win over Vista

Paris Griffith and Annika Chickering led the Del Norte High girls golf team to its sixth victory of the season, as the Nighthawks downed Vista 231-258 Wednesday at the par-36 San Luis Rey Downs Golf Course.

Griffith led the charge with a 40, while Chickering was close behind with a 41. Bella Kim (47), Sam Haber (51) and Steph Stack (52) rounded out the top five scores for the Nighthawks (6-2).

Vista’s Julia Sander was the medalist, carding a 2-over par, 38.
