San Diego Section Rankings through Week 5
1. Oceanside/D-II/ (4-1) — keeps taking down contenders; last week beat No. 5 Mission Hills.
2. La Costa Canyon/D-II/ (4-1) — Turns close game into 26-7 rout over San Pasqual.
3. Cathedral Catholic/D-III/ (3-2) — Rolls to 38-6 win over Morse.
4. Helix/D-II/ (3-1) – Takes on Valhalla after a bye week.
5. Mission Hills/D-I/ (3-2) — Hung in there with Oceanside, but falls 26-17.
6. Poway/D-II/ (3-2) — Puts it all together in 35-6 win over valley Center.
7. Otay Ranch/D-I/ (5-0) – Continues to mow down opponents.
8. St. Augustine/D-IV- (4-1) – Tops Eastlake 42-28.
9. Olympian/D-III/ (5-0) – Has not given up more than 20 points in a game.
10. Eastlake/D-I/ (3-2) — Gives up season-high 42 points in loss to St. Augustine.
