Apparent suicide victim found in Black Mountain Ranch

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – The body of an apparent suicide victim was found Monday in a parked car next to an open-space preserve in the Black Mountain Ranch area.

The discovery in the 17900 block of San Dieguito Road was reported shortly before 11 a.m., according to San Diego police.

Patrol officers investigated the scene of the fatality and determined that the dead man evidently had killed himself, SDPD Detective Gary Hassen said.

The county Medical Examiner’s Office was called in to take custody of the body for identification and postmortem exams.
