Both Mangum and Cunningham have attached signs to a fence covering a drainage easement on Poway Rd. and those are not in compliance either. When I say I don't like signs - I'm not exaggerating. I also can't stand signs that don't identify who the sign belongs to (i.e., the mystery Thanks A Billion signs). It doesn't matter whether or not anyone agrees with whatever the statement is - I think there should be posted on every non-candidate sign a small identifying statement. I completely respect our individual right to put up whatever message we want - but keep 'em small. Really, w. almost half of Poway's population as absentee voters (from 2010 election stats), and ballots being mailed out a month ahead of the election, it gets less and less effective to wait until the last minute to mail out brochures and have debates. On the subject of signs, I haven't seen any Cunningham signs in my neck of the woods.
