Prep Football: Rancho Bernardo High falls 41-14 to Westview

The Rancho Bernardo High football team took a 7-3 lead on Charles Ensley’s 80-yard TD pass to Brian Riley on its first offensive play, but it was all Westview after that.

The Wolverines responded with 38 consecutive points en route to a 41-14 win over the Broncos, taking over sole possession of second place in the Palomar League. Westview needs Rancho Bernardo to upset Poway in the season-final next week to share the league crown.

The Broncos (1-8, 1-2) have lost three straight and the Titans (7-2, 3-0) are up next in the season-finale.
