Veterans honored during ceremony at Poway Veterans Park
A ceremony honoring veterans was held Sunday, Nov. 11 in Poway Veterans Park.
It was hosted by the Poway Veterans Park Committee and VFW Post 7907, with the assistance of American Legion Post 479, The Fleet Reserve Association and Miramar Military Officers Association of America. The guest of honor was Marine Corps Purple Heart recipient Gunner Travis L. McKinney of the 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion.
