Prep Boys Soccer: Poway High remains undefeated in league with draw

A goal by Sasha Perantau helped the Poway High boys soccer team salvage a 1-1 draw with Canyon Crest Academy Wednesday in a Palomar League match.

A tie is just as good as a win for the Titans at this point, given they have a five-point lead over second place Mt. Carmel with only three matches to go. Poway can clinch at least a share of its first league title since 2011 with draws the rest of the way.

The Titans (9-2-7, 4-0-3 Palomar League) close the regular season with Torrey Pines, Westview and Rancho Bernardo. Poway is trying for its first undefeated season in league play since at least 2005.
