Prep Baseball: Rancho Bernardo High’s Katoh named to MaxPrep’s Top 100 Seniors list

Rancho Bernardo High infielder Gosuke Katoh was named to the MaxPreps Top 100 baseball seniors of 2013 list on Thursday.

The 6-foot, 2-inch, 180-pound second baseman for the Broncos came in at No. 74 on the prestigious list.

Katoh, who is headed to UCLA next year, is a four-year starter for Rancho Bernardo. He played in the All-American Perfect Game Classic and the Area Code Games over the summer. He was named a Louisville Slugger Preseason All-American.

Katoh hit .355 with 31 RBIs and 11 home runs as a junior.
