Prep Girls Lacrosse: Del Norte High tops Santa Fe Christian in season opener

Makenna Dybczak scored twice, Megan Drew made 11 saves and the Del Norte High girls lacrosse team defeated Santa Fe Christian 7-5 Wednesday in the season opener for both schools.

The Nighthawks led 3-1 at halftime. Emilie Boone, Makenna Grewe, Sophie Heston, Maddie Johnstone and Kat Rudy each found the back of the net once. Grewe also had an assist for Del Norte (1-0).
