Wagon rides

‘Toughest sheriff’ to speak at COGG
Sheriff Joe Arpaio, dubbed “America’s toughest sheriff,” for his strict law enforcement style in Maricopa County, Ariz., will speak at the 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10 Conservative Order of Good Government luncheon.
Arpaio will talk about his strategy for stopping illegal immigrants and how the new Arizona law will impact law enforcement.
The luncheon — open to all — will be in the Country Club of Rancho Bernardo, 12280 Greens East Road.
