St. Gabriel’s Knights of Columbus will be hosting a pancake breakfast (scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes and breakfast burritos to go, coffee and juice) 8:45 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday, May 20 benefiting The Way Back, a Recovery Home for Men.
Dress up your pooch or come as you are to Bark at the Park 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 19 at the Poway Community Park Dog Park. Ribbons awarded for tricks, best costume, cutest, etc. Entry fee is $10. Proceeds benefit Rady Children’s Hospital and high school scholarship programs. For more details, call 858-880-8419.
The Rancho Bernardo Relay for Life will hold a relay rally from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 19 at The Remington Club, 16925 Hierba Drive in Rancho Bernardo. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be served.

The Poway Center for the Performing Arts hosts the Poway High School Jazz Festival 2 p.m. Friday, April 27. The festival will feature 12 middle school and high school jazz ensembles from all over Southern California. Proceeds will go to the Martin & Delia Gold Neighborhood Healthcare Center in Poway. It will serve those within Poway Unified School District boundaries.

Bernardo Gardeners will host its ninth annual spring garden tour from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 19. The self-guided tour will feature five Rancho Bernardo gardens. Flat shoes are required. No children under age 10. The gardens are not walker or wheelchair accessible.
