I have written a couple letters disagreeing with things Dick Lyles has said in a couple of his columns. This letter is in support of his column that pointed out the vulgarity and juvenile mindlessness of the Academy Awards ceremony as personified by the jerk who was the host of that far too long exercise in unjustified self approval.
