The Rancho Bernardo High softball team is moving on to the CIF San Diego Section Division II championship game, but it took over five hours on the softball field Thursday at the Poway Sportsplex to do it.

Chris French has experienced plenty of pain on the track throughout his career at Poway High. He broke his left arm during a 110-meter hurdle race as a freshman and then broke his right arm during a 4×100-relay race as a junior.
