Can you help ID Poway market robbery suspects?

The public’s help is being sought in identifying two suspects in connection with the armed robbery of a Poway market Nov. 1.

At approximately 9:45 p.m. Old Poway Market, located at 14047 Midland Road in Old Poway Village, was robbed by two unknown suspects. One of the suspects was armed with a shotgun. As he entered the store he racked a round in the shotgun and ordered two employees to lie on the floor.

The second suspect, who was not armed, went behind the counter and retrieved a blue deposit bag containing approximately $3,000 in cash and personal checks. The subjects then exited the market and fled in a dark vehicle northbound on Midland Road.

Suspect #1 is described as a white male between 20-25 years old. He is approximately 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray and green striped hoodie, a red scarf covering his nose and mouth, and black tennis shoes with white soles. He was carrying what appeared to be a black pump-action shotgun.

Suspect #2 is described as a white adult (unsure if male or female) between 18-25 years of age, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing approximately 165 pounds. The suspect was wearing a blue digital camouflage sweatshirt with the hood over his/her head, a white cloth over his/her nose and mouth, black gloves and blue jeans.

A video surveillance camera captured images of the suspects and their vehicle.

Anyone with information on the identity and/or location of the suspects is asked to call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477.
