It was a big step for Elizabeth Bachmann and her husband, John, to move to a senior community. It was then that she decided to help other “Baby Boomers” make the transition to senior housing, said the Realtor with Prudential California Realty in Rancho Bernardo.

“I want them to see how wonderful life can be after 55 and what a wonderful place Rancho Bernardo is to live,” she said. “I love talking to my clients about the freedom they feel after down-sizing from the large homes where they raised their families to a home half the size.”

Bachmann said after the seniors are settled in their new home, they tell her how wonderful it is to have time to do the things they love to do now that they don’t spend every weekend taking care of a lawn or cleaning a large home.”

“Now they have the time to travel, golf, swim, hike, play tennis and enjoy time with their friends and grand children they never had before,” she said.

Originally from Quincy, Ill., in the heart of the Midwest, Bachmann started selling real estate in 1979. Throughout her career she maintained that Midwestern work ethic that puts a premium on a job well done. She graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi and spent many of her early years selling real estate in areas throughout the South.

“Elizabeth is an outstanding professional to have on our team,” said Dean Stalter, Rancho Bernardo branch manager and broker of record for the company. “She is synonymous with integrity and quality service. We are proud to have her as part of the Prudential Real Estate family.”

Bachmann specializes in listing and selling homes in Oaks North and Seven Oaks and is very knowledgeable about the Rancho Bernardo area.
