All are invited to see Rancho Bernardo’s community Christmas tree and menorah lit next Tuesday.

The seventh annual holiday display is returning to the Webb Park entrance between Pactrust Bank and US Bank on Bernardo Center Drive.

The lighting ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4. Prior to the tree and menorah being lit, the Mt. Carmel High School choir and the MenschTones from Temple Adat Shalom will perform a selection of holiday tunes. Santa Claus will also meet with youngsters.

The invocation will be delivered by Rabbi Yisroel Goldstein of Congregation Chabad and Rev. Frederick Thayer of St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church.

While the lighting ceremony and entertainment are free, there is a charge to attend the 6:15-7:30 p.m. reception unless one belongs to the Rancho Bernardo Business Association. Non-members and members’ guests can attend for $15. RBBA members attend for free.

The reception, featuring food from area restaurants, will be held inside Pactrust Bank, 16840 Bernardo Center Drive.

RSVP with Mary Stanton at 858-451-3406 or marys@rbbusinessassociation.com.
