Looking for a new place to get in shape? Then maybe you should give Anytime Fitness a try.

Anytime Fitness, located at 12222 Poway Road, is a new, 24-hour gym that offers a new take on working out. Owned and managed by Michael Cosper and his fiancee Krystal Perella, Anytime Fitness, which opened June 17, offers everything from state-of-the-art fitness equipment to unique, one-on-one video classes that can be done anytime, day or night.

“[Anytime Fitness] isn’t just a gym where you work out and go home,” said Cosper. Part of membership to Anytime Fitness includes access to AnytimeHealth.com, a companion website that includes diet advice, workout tips, and a library of the latest health research.

Anytime Fitness is also dedicated to bringing you the best and most comfortable and welcoming workout experience. “We pride ourselves in offering the highest level of customer service, quality and cleanliness,” said Cosper.

Part of the uniqueness of Anytime Fitness is its 24-hour nature. The gym is staffed 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday - Friday, and 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday. All other times, gym members can come and use the gym, day or night, using a keyfob that opens the gym door. Are you an insomniac and want to work out at 3 a.m.? No problem. Anytime Fitness also has security in place, to make sure that only members can enter after staffed hours, as well as a 911 emergency line, and 911 alert necklaces, if members feel the need to wear one.

Can’t make it to the wide variety of classes Anytime Fitness offers during its staffed hours? Then maybe the gym’s “Fitness on Request” option is right for you. Anytime Fitness offers video classes 24-7. Using a touchscreen kiosk, you can choose what class, and what skill level, you’d like to take, and how long, from 20 minutes, to 35, to 55 minutes. You can then take the video class on the gym’s 120-inch projection screen.

When you’re done, enjoy using the gym’s clean, private bathrooms and showers, which Cosper compared to a four-star hotel.

“We want people to come to a place where they feel comfortable, and motivated to work out and get fit,” said Cosper. “We’ve been getting people [joining] who have never belonged to a gym, who feel comfortable. [Anytime Fitness] provides an inviting atmosphere for people who aren’t already fitness enthusiasts, while also catering to hardcore fitness enthusiasts.”
