Share

The Rancho Bernardo High girls water polo team won its first Palomar League championship since 2004 last season and it looks like the team is picking up right where it left off.

Taylor Brown scored seven goals and Sara Devlin registered seven saves, as the Broncos rolled to a 12-7 victory over Fallbrook Tuesday in a nonleague game.

Hayley Parkinson and Midnite Rhodes added two goals apiece, while Julia Luyken found the back of the net once for Rancho Bernardo. The Broncos led 6-4 at halftime and extended the lead to 10-6 through three quarters.
