Prep Girls Soccer: Del Norte High blanks Mt. Carmel

Makenna Grewe scored twice and the Del Norte High girls soccer team blanked Mt. Carmel 2-0 Wednesday night in a non-league game at Mt. Carmel High School.

Maddee Vourlitis and Hanien Samara combined to make five saves in the net for the Nighthawks, who moved to 2-1-1 with the victory. Del Norte had 20 shots in the game. Stephanie White had an assist.

Del Norte will host Poway Friday at 5:15 p.m.
