4S RANCH (CNS) - Two people were hospitalized with injuries sustained during an altercation on Saturday night.
Sheriff’s deputies and San Diego police were called at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday to a home on the 10200 block of Winecreek Court in 4S Ranch to a report of a stabbing, according to Lt. Jim Bolwerk of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
The suspect stabbed the victim in the thigh and fled into the canyon behind the home, Bolwerk said. Deputies from 4S Ranch, Encinitas and Poway, along with San Diego police officers, searched the area with a police dog and found the suspect hiding in a bush in the canyon, according to Bolwerk.
