There were 532 Rancho Bernardo High seniors who crossed the stage in their campus stadium Thursday as they closed the chapter on their high school years.

Before the 5:30 p.m. ceremony, selected seniors entertained the crowd. Gillian Norton and Morgan Kammerer sang “Time of Your Life,” Lauren Gallagher sang “Unwritten” and “For Good” was sung by Denise Neumerkel and Dorian Parker.

During the ceremony, the Rancho Bernardo High Madrigals sang “Be OK” and two more seniors performed. Ianire Alvarez sang “I Was Here” and Caitlin Cranford sang “As If We Never Said Goodbye.” Presenting a combined speech were the class valedictorian Mariah White, who earned a 4.6818 G.P.A., and salutatorian Allen Gao, who earned a 4.6522 G.P.A.

The new graduates returned to campus at 10 p.m. to attend their “It’s Personal” Grad Nite party in Rancho Bernardo High’s gymnasium that was extensively decorated for the all-night party and featured a wide assortment of activities, games and entertainment.
