Prep Girls Lacrosse: Nighthawks double up San Marcos

Emma Ekeroth had three goals and four assists, as the Del Norte High girls lacrosse team won its second straight with a 14-7 win over San Marcos on Thursday night.

The Nighthawks led 8-3 at halftime before outscoring the Knights 6-4 in the second half to put the game away. Freshman Kaia Evans registered three goals and Morgan Moody and Stephanie White each scored twice for Del Norte (3-2).

Sam Burke made six saves in the net. Makenna Grewe had a goal and three assists, while Kaitlyn Trieu added a score.
