Prep Girls Lacrosse: Del Norte routs Santa Fe Christian

Morgan Moody scored five goals and Makenna Grewe found the back of the net four times and had three assists, as the Del Norte girls lacrosse team beat Santa Fe Christian 14-3 Thursday in a non-league game.

The Nighthawks (3-3) led 5-2 at the break before outscoring the Eagles 9-1 in the second half. Goalkeeper Samantha Burke turned in a great game, making 10 saves to help keep Santa Fe Christian off the scoreboard.

Kaia Evans had two goals, while Olivia Kroop, Emma Ekeroth and Ariel Mai scored one goal apiece. The win was Del Norte’s third in its last four games.
