Prep Softball: Abrahamian delivers walk-off double for Nighthawks

Sophomore Melissa Abrahamian stroked a two-out, walk-off double and the Del Norte High softball team nipped Christian 4-3 Thursday in a Jaguar Classic tournament game.

Haley Cruse went 2-for-4 with two runs to help the Nighthawks win their second straight.

Abrahamian tossed two innings before giving way to sophomore Anne Marie Prentiss, who picked up the win with one inning of shutout softball. The Nighthawks continue tournament play with La Costa Canyon today at 3:30 p.m.
