Prep Boys Lacrosse: Titans, Broncos both get wins

Three different players scored three goals and the Rancho Bernardo High boys lacrosse team beat Westview 12-9 Friday in a Palomar League game.

Jason Au, Tucker Reed and Duncan Copeland all found the back of the net three times. Goalkeeper Lombardi played phenomenal, making 17 saves to preserve the win.

The Broncos (10-6) have won three straight and close the season with La Jolla, Grossmont and rival Poway.

The Titans had not trouble getting past the Nighthawks Friday night in a Palomar League match.

Poway, who has already locked up the league championship, remains unbeaten in league. The Titans close the season with arguably their toughest four-game stretch. The No. 2 team in the section will play No. 5 Torrey Pines, No. 4 Cathedral Catholic, No. 8 Valley Center and No. 10 Rancho Bernardo.
