Prep Softball: Titans slug their way past Mt. Carmel

Kourtney Shaw got her 16th win, Ari Marsh and Catherine Seitz each and three hits and the Poway High softball team rebounded from a loss to Torrey Pines with 10-3 win over Mt. Carmel Friday in a Palomar League game.

The win combined with the Falcons’ 1-0 win over Ranch Bernardo puts Poway and Torrey Pines in a first-place tie with one loss apiece.

Marsh went 3-for-5 with two runs and an RBI, while Seitz also drove in a run. Morgan Lutticken went 2-for-4 with a home run, as the Titans’ offense continues to hit at a record-breaking pace.
