Prep Baseball: Two-run rally lifts Titans to playoff win

A two-run rally in the bottom of the sixth inning lifted the sixth-seeded Poway High baseball team to a 2-1 victory over No. 11 Grossmont Tuesday in a CIF San Diego Section Division I play-in game at Poway High School.

Noah Lyons’ RBI single tied the game and freshman Dayton Dooney singled in Sloan Blanscet for what proved to be the game winner.

The Titans advance to play at No. 3 Rancho Buena Vista Wednesday in the first-round of the double-elimination portion of the tournament.
