Prescription drug drop off is Saturday

Expired and unwanted prescription drugs will be collected Saturday as part of the annual National Prescription Take Back Day.

Items may be dropped off between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Poway Sherriff’s station, 13100 Bowron Road or the FBI/DEA office at 15004 Innovation Drive, Carmel Mountain Ranch.

No sharps or needles will be accepted.

The service is free.
