Girls Soccer: Broncos blank Titans

The Rancho Bernardo High girls soccer team exploded for three-second half goals and remained undefeated in Palomar League play after dispatching rival Poway 3-0 Thursday night at Rancho Bernardo.

Riley Dixon’s left-footed blast to the net gave the Broncos a 1-0 lead at halftime, but goals by Kenzie Simpson, Samantha Lee and Noanne Rosse in the second half broke the game open. Rancho Bernardo’s defense was stellar again, as it recorded its seventh shutout of the season. The Broncos improved to 10-3-2 and 4-0 in league.
